Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary
Situated on the slopes between Khajjiar and Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh, Kalatop park is one of the most famous and well known of India's parks prized for its wildlife.
The thick cedar foliage, snow capped mountains, expansive green meadows and streams make up Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary.
The name Kalatop means "black cap," which refers to the dense black forest cover atop the park's tallest hill. Located a few kilometers from the Chamba Dam and the Chamera Reservoir on the Ravi River, it is known to be rich in flora and fauna. Hundreds of small streams flow into the Ravi River north of the park.
The well laid out trekking and hiking trails in Kalatop park offer great nature walks, always enjoying the view of the impressive and immaculate Pir Panjal range.

Khajjiar lake
Situated at an elevation of about 1,920 meters, Khajjiar Lake is among the most popular tourist sites in the state.

Khajji Nag temple
Khajji Nag temple is embellished with a golden dome and spire. It dates back to the 12th century AD sanctuary. dedicated to Naga, the lord of snakes and you will always find numerous snake idols in this place.
This temple has a perfect blend of Mughal and Hindu architectural styles as reflected in the wood carvings on the ceilings and wooden posts.
It has sculptures of images representing Kauravas hiding from the Pandavas. The dome-shaped temple is made of slates sourced locally from limestone quarries and also adjoins other Shiva and Hadimba shrines. The Khajji Nag temple is built in the pahari style and the images of the five Pandavas: Yudhishtra, Bhim, Arjun, Nakul and Sahdev are beautifully made with wooden threads in the corners of the shrine's Mandapam.
The ancient practice of goat sacrifice is still practiced.
