Tour in North East India with a visit to Gangtok, Pelling and Darjeeling

Organized tour with driver to discover the three most beautiful places in north east India: Gangtok, Pelling and Darjeeling.
This tour starts in Bagdogra from where we will take you to Gangtok, famous for its culture, nature, fun and excellent food.
We will visit Tshangu lake, a glacial lake. We will continue to Pelling, famous for its magnificent views of the Kanchenjunga snowy mountain range.
We will conclude the tour by visiting Darjeeling, one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in India distributed on a steep mountain ridge, set among hectares of lush green tea plantations.
We will end our trip to the state of Sikkim by returning to Bagdogra.

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra airport and transfer to Gangtok (126 km - 4 hours by car)
Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport you will find our staff waiting for you for Gangtok.
Gangtok has a little bit of everything. You can find culture, nature, fun and great food in that beautiful location in Sikkim.
Upon arrival check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: Visit of Gantok and its surroundings
In the morning, the Gantok excursion begins with a visit to the Umtek monastery, Jhakri Water Fall, Do-Drul Chorten, Namgyal institute of tibetology (closed on Sundays), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and the Flower Exhibition Center.

Day 3: Excursion to Tshangu lake
After breakfast we will visit Tshangu lake, a glacial lake in the eastern Sikkim district about 40 kilometers from the capital Gangtok.
Return to Gangtok and relax.

Day 4: Transfer to Pelling (130 km - 4 hours by car)
After breakfast transfer to Pelling. The pleasant town of Pelling is famous for its magnificent views of the snowy mountain range of Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world.
Check-in at the hotel.

Day 5: Excursion around Pelling and Transfer to Darjeeling (74 km - 2 hours by car)
During the day we will visit the Rimbi Water fall & Hydro Project and the Khecheopalri lake, one of the sacred mountain lakes of Buddhism.
In the afternoon transfer to Darjeeling where we will spend the night at the hotel.

Day 6: Visit of Darjeeling
Darjeeling is one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in India distributed on a steep mountain ridge, nestled among hectares of lush green tea plantations.
At the first light of dawn we will take you to the Tiger Hills to enjoy a spectacular sunrise.
After breakfast, visit the Japanese temple, the pagoda of peace, the Himalayan zoological park of Padmaja Naidu and the Himalayan mountaineering institute (closed Thursday), ride on the Darjeeling cable car, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, self-help center for refugees Tibetans (closed on Sunday). We will end this fanatic day with a visit to the scenic tea plantations.

Day 7: Transfer to Bagdogra airport (69 km - 2 and a half hours by car)
After breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra airport and end of the tour.
