The journey to the Golden Triangle in India begins for most people in Delhi, where international flights usually land. While you could spend weeks exploring the sights of the city, from the museums of the Red Fort Mughal to the gigantic Qutb Minar and the India Gate of British Raj, the best way to get an idea of the dynamism of the capital is to walk around streets and bazaars. Two of Delhi's most vibrant bazaars are Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi and Paharganj in New Delhi.
Golden Triangle continue to Agra, with its magnificent Taj Mahal. Nothing can really prepare your mind at the sight of the royal splendor of the structure. We recommend to make your experience an indelible memory in your mind to organize your visit at sunrise or sunset, when the Taj Mahal is more majestic with the spectacular lights that reflect. Also the nearby Agra Fort deserves a visit. From its walls, it is possible to identify the Taj Mahal rising in the distance.
Third step of the trip to the Golden Triangle is Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. It is known as the "pink city" for its rose-colored buildings. Stroll through the center to visit historic attractions such as Hawa Mahal and the impressive City Palace. Jaipur is well known for traditional craftsmanship and design, so it is the right place to buy fabrics and gifts to take home.
