Mandawa is a small town located in the heart of the Shekhawati region, in the state of Rajasthan, well known in India for its beautiful forts and havelis.
In the past, Mandawa, located about 200 km from Delhi, was considered an important social and cultural hub.
What to see in Mandawa
The fort of Mandawa is one of the main tourist attractions of the city.
The fortress offers a clear view of the whole city. The splendid arcades of this beautiful fort are painted with impressive drawings depicting Lord Krishna and her shepherdesses. Each room in this building shows different decorations and themes, the walls are decorated with beautiful large paintings and magnificent handmade mirrors.
The fort has been transformed into a hotel, a heritage of Rajasthan.

Haveli - Indian architecture
In Mandawa you can discover numerous havelis that are certainly worth a visit.
